Q: Why can't I print receipts, why isn't my cash drawer opening, or why aren't labels printing?
A: This is usually due to the XPOS printer service not running.
How to check and restart the service:
- On your Windows taskbar, use the search function and type
XPOS printer service. - Double-click on
XPOS Printer Servicefrom the search results. - The service will automatically start if it was not running. If it was already running, a message will appear to confirm this. If you see this message, restart your PC. (Make sure you select restart, and not shutdown)
- Once you've done this, please try printing your receipt again.
