Setting Up a Newland BS80 Piranha II 1D Linear Scanner

Note: Charge the scanner for 3-4 hours before first use!

• Hold the "Scan" button down for 3 seconds to power the scanner on.
• Hold down the "Function" for 3 seconds to initiate Bluetooth pairing.
• select the scanner from the "Available devices" list and pair.
• to scan Barcodes press the "Scan" button.
• To bring up the keyboard on an IOS device press the "Scan" and "Function" keys simultaneously.
• To bring up the keyboard on an android device tap on the field and it will come up automatically.
