HW-6400 Scanner to Work with iPhone or Android Device

This article contains the steps required to pair the HW-6400 scanner with an iPhone/Android.

Required:

• HW-6400 Scanner
• iOS or Android device
• Xapp Pro

Configure scanner to work with iPhone

1. Push Orange button to ensure scanner is powered on.

2. Hold Orange button for 8-10 seconds until it beeps twice, flashing blue LED means it is in pairing mode.

3. Pair with your iOS or Android device, solid blue LED means it has paired.

To bring up the keyboard for entering quantities/prices, double press the Orange button

What if the scanner beeps constantly when holding down the button?

This indicates low battery. Charge battery (green light) and the scanner can then be discovered on your mobile device.
