Q: How do I set up a price band in Xpos?
A: Price bands in Xpos are used to create discounts or price adjustments for specific products. Here’s how you set one up:
- Access Price Bands: Go to Settings > Products > Price Bands, or use the Universal Search feature.
- Create a New Price Band: Click on "Add Price Band," give the promotion a name (e.g., "Ball Promo"), and choose a price band action (e.g., "Discount sales price by %").

Set the Rules:
- Enter the percentage value for the discount or increase.
- Set the start and end dates for the promotion.
- Choose the specific locations, customer types, and products (by brand, group, or subgroup) that the price band will apply to. You can also exclude certain items.
- Activate and Publish: Click "Save" and then "Publish" to make the price band live.
Important Note: Xpos allows multiple price bands to run simultaneously. If there are conflicting discounts, the greater discount will be applied automatically.
