Managing Shopify Products
This article explains how to add products and subgroups from Xpos to your Shopify store, and how to filter your product list to view items already linked to Shopify.
Linking a single product range to Shopify
In Xpos, navigate to the Products tab and tick the checkbox next to the product you want to add.
2. Click Edit, then select the Web tab.
3. From here you can choose to upload individual products or your entire range to Shopify. Make your selection, then click Save.
4. The selected products will be uploaded to Shopify automatically.
Tip: Once a product has been uploaded, you will see an eye icon appear next to it in the product list. Clicking this icon takes you directly to that product in your Shopify store. Clicking Show in Shopify on the right-hand side takes you to the entire range in Shopify.
Adding an entire Subgroup to Shopify
You can also add an entire Subgroup to Shopify at once. This also sets Shopify as the default for any new products you create within that Subgroup going forward
Go to Settings > Products > Groups.
Select the relevant Shop Department, then the Product Group, then the Subgroup.
Example: Golf Shop > Clothing > Outerwear Men
3. Click Edit, tick the Shopify checkbox, then click Save.
4. You will be prompted to choose whether to update existing products:
Yes — adds all existing products in the Subgroup to Shopify.
No — does not add existing products, but enables Shopify for any new products created in this Subgroup from now on.
Note: Enabling Shopify at the Subgroup level sets it as the default for that Subgroup, so new products you create there will automatically be linked to Shopify.
Using filters to find Shopify linked Products.
To quickly view only the products already linked to your Shopify store:
Go to the Products page in Xpos.
Click Open Filters.
Under the Shopify dropdown, select Linked to Shopify
