1. Internet Connection
   • Xpos cloud requires a permanent connection to the internet.
   • 1 megabit per second download/upload minimum.
     • Faster speeds beneficial.
2. Sales Terminal

   • Screen Resolution
     • Minimum Screen Resolution 1366x768  
     • On screens < 1501px width the discount column is hidden.
     • Smaller resolution screens show fewer quick products without scrolling and you are more likely to need to scroll to view baskets with many items.
   • Touch Screen/Mouse/Keyboard
     • The Sales Screens are optimised for use with a touch screen.
     • A physical keyboard is recommended for searching for customers and products by name or recording new customers.
     • A physical keyboard will prevent the virtual keyboard obscuring a large area of the screen when performing certain actions such as entering names.
   • Barcode Reader
     • Conventional keyboard simulator barcode readers are supported with Enter character used as the terminator.
   • Receipts
     • No addition hardware or services are required to email receipts.
     • A Print Service server is required to print receipts to a receipt printer or conventional printer (see below).

     • Xpos is optimised for 1920 x 1080 pixels or higher.
     • On lower resolution screens more scrolling in grids and edits will be required whilst some content in forms etc. will be moved from columns to rows

     • These screens work best with a Mouse & Keyboard combination.
